75 Soft Mom Challenge

The 75 Soft Mom Challenge is all about cultivating a healthier lifestyle while making it sustainable. Let’s face it, after three kids, your body undergoes quite the transformation. And no, I’m not just talking about weight—I’m talking about the whole package- inside and out. If you’re anything like me, when I had my kids, my personal priorities shifted to them, and I have no regrets.

However, it’s time for this momma to kick her butt back into gear. It’s time to prioritize living a healthier life and setting better examples because I firmly believe that kids learn by example.

75 soft mom challenges

My 75 Soft Mom Challenge Guidelines:

1. Eat Well and Drink Alcohol Only During Social Occasions

This is by far the toughest part for me. My dietary plan will revolve around my plate, with 50% of it dedicated to veggies. I’ve always been a carb lover, but I’m committed to practicing what I preach to my kids about eating their greens.

Additionally, I’ll refrain from eating past 7:30 pm to curb my late-night snacking habits. While I’m not following a specific meal plan, I’m focused on building better eating habits.

2. Hydrate: Drink half my body weight in ounces.

While some suggest a gallon of water per day, I’m upping the ante to challenge myself further. With recent increases in physical activity like running and being on the move with my job, staying hydrated is paramount. I aim to limit soft drinks to accompany meals only, opting for water as my primary beverage.

3. Exercise: 45 minutes per day with 1 active recovery day per week.

As a busy mom of three, committing to two 45-minute workouts per day isn’t feasible for me. Instead, I’ll focus on consistency over intensity to break the yo-yo cycle. My workouts will include a mix of running and traditional weightlifting, with yoga-based activities for active recovery.

4. Read: 10 pages of non-fiction per day.

I prioritize non-fiction books related to my business as I navigate my journey as a full-time entrepreneur. Every bit of guidance counts as I strive for growth and success. I’m looking forward to reading Choose Your Enemies Wisely, How to Win Friends & Influence People, and Thank You For Arguing.

5. Track Progress: Take a progress picture every day.

Unlike some programs, I’m making daily progress pictures a requirement. Having experienced fluctuating weight, I’ve learned to rely less on the scale and more on how I feel, how my clothes fit, and how I’m showing up each day.
